The big fun run in Darley Abbey Park was just for fun with only around 200 runners joggers walkers and dogs. Just a bit of fun. It was a hot day luckily the run was in the shade. The gun went off and I kept within the top 10 of all runners throughout the event. A slightly different route to the Race for Life earlier in the year, somewhat harder I found due to the different hills.
After around 4km I began to feel sick, not the best of races I have taken part in.
The finish was on grass making it even harder to speed up. However I still managed to come in as the 3rd Female.
