My first run since breaking my ribs so I wasn’t expecting a great run. We got mixed up with some of the walkers so were admist the crowds to start with. The first 2km involved dodging the joggers and walkers then when the hill approached many started walking, which is when I gained momentum and began to run.

A hard run for my first race for months, coupled with a hot day. I managed to get a sub 25 which I was happy with and a good start on the road to recovery.
